Old Scholars of Brummana High School contribute half a million dollars for their school.

Khaled Saab, President of the BHS Old Scholars Association, and all members of the Executive Committee have the pleasure to announce that with the kind assistance and generous donations and subscriptions from a good number of colleagues, the OSA Development Fund has flourished during the last years and has been able to raise about half a million US dollars, the aim of which is to support the school.

Right after the OSA's Eighth International Convention last July, the Executive Committee was entrusted to accomplish two projects that will enable Brummana High School to introduce new curriculum concept methods that will aim towards modern perspective in the Science Block and Computer Lab. Expenses on this project exceeded $400,000.00.

A new floor was added to the two main floors of the Science Block to have been refurbished and modernly fitted. The Computer Lab has also had a big share of refurbishment and is proudly fit to greet the third millenium.

The inauguration ceremony of both projects took place on Friday, November 19, 1999.
