About you How can I join? I was at BHS in the 70s, but I'm not listed here. Where can I update my information? I'm looking for my old friend. Can you help? How can I send pictures for the site? I went to BHS, but not in the 70s, can I still join? And don't forget these very important BHS sites: BHS Old Scholar's Association This is the all-year alumni group, located in the Meeting House on campus. BHS school site This is the school site, where you can find out all sorts of information about BHS now. How can I join? It's incredibly easy. Just fill out the form you see on the right. We call it our "then & now" registration. Give as much or as little detail as you like, but do remember that any one on the Internet will be able to read it. We'll then use that "then & now" to list you in the Alumni. Except your email address -- we do not give out email addresses at all. We keep addresses in a completely private offsite database. A good email address for you is critical, though. That's how we send you forwarded messages from old friends that want to write to you, and how we keep you in touch with what's new on the site. top I was at BHS in the 70s, but I'm not listed here. We're extra glad you found us. Fill out the form on the right and we'll add you. We know our records aren't complete or always correct. It's by a little miracle (and by Linda's willingness to work in a dusty records room) that we have the list that we do have. We started out with 1300 names, but have been adding steadily and now have over 1500. If you see don't see someone that should be in our alumni list, please let us know. top Where can I update my information? We're working on an edit system, but it is not ready yet. In the meantime, if you need to update anything, email us at info07@bhs70s.com Or if you like you can simply re-register with the Then & Now form here. top I'm looking for an old friend. Can you help? We can sure try. Take a look at our Then & Now page to see if your friend has already been found. Under every person found, we have a "Contact" form where we will forward your message to him or her. If your friend's name is listed, but it is not a link, that means we have not heard from them yet, but are waiting and hoping, like you, that they'll show up. When they do, we'll add them to the found group, with a link, and a NEW by their name. So it's worth while to keep checking the Then & Now page for new friends that come along. If your friend should be here, but isn't, let us know. We'll add them. Lots of people find the site by typing in their own name in a search engine like google. So, if we have his or her name listed here, they just might find us even quicker! And speaking of google, google is an excellent place for you to type in your friend's name and see what comes up. If their name is more common, it might be a bit like finding a needle in a haystack. If you need help, just write to us at info07@bhs70s.com. We might have some ideas or other leads for you. top How can I send pictures for the site? Bless you, you are a kind soul after all our hearts! Pictures, as they say, are worth a thousand words. The easiest way is to scan the pictures and send them to us at info07@bhs70s.com. That means you do have to have a scanner. If you don't, there are service centers (like Walmart or Walgreens in the U.S.) that offer scanning for a small fee. Or you can mail them to us, we can scan them, and return them to you. That's a little scarier, because we'll have to rely on the post. But we've been successful so far. Do email us first and let's figure out the best way. top I went to BHS, but not in the 70s, can I still join? Absolutely! Just fill out the Then & Now information on the right, and we'll add you to one of the non-70s classes we have, like Class of 60s, Class of 85+, etc. top |
