A continuing evolution...
As we progress through these changes, you can monitor our progress on the BHS70s blog. For our fellow geeky types, if you have any suggestions, any software recommendations (pro or con), we'd especially love your input. We are on a LAMP-type system: Unix, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. Our budget doesn't allow for expensive proprietary software, so we prefer open source that is initially turnkey, but that can be modified for our needs if necessary. Your expertise could save us hundreds of labor-of-love hours. Please email us if you have any words of wisdom.

Please email us right away with your suggestions at ideas@bhs70s.com.
Marhaba! BHS70s is undergoing a site redesign (see right for details). Everything will be back, even better than before, on January 1, 2009. If you have any suggestions, ideas, experience, or helpful hints, please email us (see address on the left). See you soon =) We serve, Debi, Linda, Sarmad Some of what we are doing:

Content Management System
As you know your cohosts coordinate the site's development over two continents. This system will allow us to update the content of BHS70s more timely. Good content management systems take care of links and site structure too. This will be a huge help to us by replacing our current custom-written (complicated) system.

Photo albums with commenting ability
They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but in many ways that's not true. By putting a photo album script on BHS70s you will be able to make comments under photos. Immediately you can share your memories and your identifications. And even better, ultimately you'll be able to directly upload your BHS70s and reunion pictures for all to share.

Membership system with secure login.
At the heart of our latest changes is the membership system. This will allow you to edit your profile -- add more personal pictures, share a recently recalled memory, update your globe-trotting. You'll be provide with a passworded login specifically for you. This will be your key to making changes to your profile, making comments and uploading pictures. We hope with this security you'll be confident your sensitive information is shared only with other BHS70s alumni, not the Internet at large.
